I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of experience working with adolescents, college age students and adults who are struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the TEAM model by Dr. David Burns, as one approach to treating problems. This type of therapy is goal-directed, and results can often be experienced in a short while. This approach has been found to be very effective in treating many forms of anxiety and depression. I take a collaborative approach, and actively work with you so that you can experience relief from your distress. The good news is that you can feel better if you learn the tools and apply them to your life. My style is supportive and non-judgmental. At the same time, I will challenge you to work hard, so that working together, we can bring about the positive change or resolution that you are looking for.
